I think I'll look around on this site tomorrow and perhaps pick something out. The girls and I picked up a $1 box of "bird and butterfly" flower mix from Walgreens and we plan on sprinkling that in the backyard in a day or two. Way in the backyard. Little girls need room to run.

Things you can do that will make you love your house.
1. Learn how to caulk so you can fix cracks. Then fix them, especially in the bathroom and around windows.
2. Constantly declutter. Get rid of at least one-third of your home's contents.
3. Clean your windows. Go through the incredible hassle of taking down the storm windows and really clean all the glass. It's amazing. And a huge pain. And while you're at it, grab a razor blade and scrape all the extra paint off the windows.
4. Paint your closets. Go with a nice neutral, or paint them a shade darker than the room color. I think it makes them look bigger.
5. Paint your ceilings. They are dingy-er than you know. It's another pain, but with a great payoff.
